LPN - Atlantic City Health Plex

Atlantic Care presents the role of an Ambulatory Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) as part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team. The LPN utilizes the care process consistent with their license and within their scope of practice, performing tasks and responsibilities that support case finding, patient and family teaching, health counseling, and provision of supportive and restorative care under the direction of a Registered Nurse or licensed Physician.

The Registered Nurse oversees coordination of the interdisciplinary care plan to align with the medical treatment plan, while licensed care providers document objective and subjective findings and interventions. All patient care activities are administered according to standards, organizational policy, and procedural guidelines. The LPN actively supports performance improvement initiatives by participating in educational activities and assumes responsibility for continued professional and personal growth.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure as an LPN in the State of New Jersey.
• Current BLSHCP certification.
• Family Medicine/Urgent Care: 3–5 years clinical experience (including pediatric experience) required; strong organizational skills preferred.
• Cardiology: 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Internal Medicine: 3–5 years clinical experience in medical/surgical care required; strong organizational skills preferred.
• Pediatric Pulmonary: 3–5 years pediatric nursing experience required; strong organizational skills preferred.
• Trauma Outpatient: 3–5 years medical/surgical experience required; strong organizational skills preferred.
• Clinic Services: 3–5 years clinical experience in medical/surgical care required; strong organizational skills preferred.
• Infectious Disease: 3–5 years clinical experience in medical/surgical care required; strong organizational skills preferred.
• Mission Services: 3–5 years clinical experience in medical/surgical care required; strong organizational skills preferred.
