Registered Nurse
As a Registered Nurse at Atlanti Care Regional Medical Center, Inc., you will be an integral part of our Operating Room City 105 department. Working collaboratively with physicians, you will utilize the nursing care process to provide culturally competent continuum of care for patients in various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and community. Your role involves overseeing the coordination of interdisciplinary plans of care and ensuring their consistency with the medical treatment plan.
With a focus on patient-centric care, you will assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient needs, prioritizing biophysical, psychological, environmental, self-care, educational, and social aspects. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to the overall success of our healthcare team.
- Collaborate with physicians to provide patient-centric care.
- Utilize the nursing care process for culturally competent continuum of care.
- Oversee interdisciplinary plans of care and ensure consistency with medical treatment.
- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient needs across various settings.
- Prioritize biophysical, psychological, environmental, and self-care aspects of patient care.
- Provide education consistent with identified patient problems and goals.
- Perform limited laboratory services, including specimen collection and processing.
- Administer patient care according to standards, procedural guidelines, and organizational policy.
- Support performance improvement initiatives and provide leadership to patient care team members.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
- Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey or current multi-state license required.
- American Heart Association BLS certification required upon hire.
- Proficiency in Clinical Applications preferred at time of hire; training provided.
- 2 years of medical/surgical and/or emergency room experience preferred.
- ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
- Minimum of 8 contact hours of education every year in basic trauma, stroke assessment, and intervention.
- ATCN or TNCC certification required within 24 months of hire or transfer.
- PALS or ENPC certification attained within 12 months of hire or transfer.
- CPI certification required by 10/31/25 for existing team members, and new team members have 1 year from hire or transfer date.
