Registered Nurse – ICU

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled RN for ICU to provide critical patient care in a fast-paced environment. Responsible for managing complex cases, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining compliance with clinical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Administer advanced critical care procedures including port management, IV placement, and airway management.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, manage ventilated patients, and administer emergency and procedural medications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive ICU care and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Cerner/Power Chart systems.
• Adhere to infection prevention protocols, PPE guidelines, and isolation precautions.
• Maintain competency in managing neuro, trauma, surgical, and medical ICU patients.

Qualifications:

• Valid NJ or compact state license required at time of submission.
• Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience in medical, surgical, trauma, or neuro ICU settings.
• Certifications:
  
  ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required.
• Demonstrate proficiency with ventilator management, invasive line management, and complex medication administration.
• Ability to float across multiple ICU units and handle various critical care situations effectively.
