THE JOB:

As a Cook at MGM, you'll bring your culinary expertise to life, skillfully applying techniques that elevate our dining offerings. Your welcoming smile and attentive service will set the stage for an unforgettable guest experience. By truly understanding each guest's unique story and needs, you will take ownership of their culinary journey, creating WOW moments that linger long after they've left us.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

* Maintain solid knowledge of food products and skillfully apply culinary techniques

* Identify and safely use kitchen equipment

* Restock kitchen supplies and food items required for service

* Properly label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation

* Maintain solid menu knowledge and attention to detail with plate presentation

* Assist kitchen leadership and staff in execution of service

* Maintain solid knowledge, understanding and preparation of base sauces, stocks and soups

* Work as a team, assist all guests needs and inquiries

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

* Required to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

* Formal Culinary training Preferred

* High School Diploma, GED or equivalent Preferred

* 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience in a similar resort setting Preferred

* 1+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience as a Cook Preferred

Pay Rate:

The rate for this role is:

$24.00

Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.

Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
