Security Officer

Overview

Security Officer – The Security Officer’s main function is to provide a friendly and safe environment for guests and team members while protecting company assets.

• Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
• Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
• Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service.
• Patrol marina and dock areas as assigned by management.
• Stand post as assigned.
• Prepare written reports relating to any problems or incidents within the marina and dock complex.
• Maintain security and safeguard company property and assets as relates to the marina areas.
• Adhere to all established hotel policies and procedures.
• React and assist on a timely basis to all emergency situations.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.

• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous experience in hotel/casino security helpful.
• CPR certificate preferred.
• Ability to swim and water‑related lifesaving skills helpful.
• Good communication skills.
• Current New Jersey driver’s license required.
• Must be able to obtain a valid Casino Employee Registration license upon hire.
• Team player with a guest first attitude.

USD $17.00 - USD $17.00 /Hr.
