Summer Para to support Voc Rehab Program
Atlantic High School is seeking a dedicated and student-centered para educator to support students participating in a summer Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) experience. This role is designed to help students explore career pathways through hands‑on learning at various community work sites.
Key Responsibilities- Transport students to and from designated work sites (district‑approved vehicle or mileage reimbursement provided)
- Supervise students at job sites and ensure appropriate behavior and engagement
- Support students in developing workplace readiness skills such as communication, responsibility, and problem‑solving
- Collaborate with Vocational Rehabilitation staff and school personnel
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback as needed
- Ensure student safety and follow all district policies and procedures
