The Production Operator produces quality products, safely and efficiently, operating the bottling and canning equipment, and following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Major Responsibilities- Operate manufacturing equipment while following written standard operating procedures (SOPs), verbal instructions, process flow charts and procedures, while following all safety, food safety, and GMP requirements.
- Assist with equipment and area preparation and setup, and cleaning/sanitation.
- Perform quality, safety, and regulatory compliance monitoring.
- Regularly inspect product.
- Replenish supplies as needed.
- Support and follow a strong safety culture and maintain clean and orderly production area to ensure safety.
- Ensure professional contact with visitors to favorably represent the company and iconic Coca-Cola brand image.
- Hold high accountability for work performance to ensure the highest quality.
- Offer proactive suggestions for production‑related problems.
- Maintain various production‑related reports.
- Other duties as required.
- High School degree with at least a year of general work experience. Previous production environment experience or machine operation equipment experience is desired. Will consider other equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
- Previous food‑grade manufacturing background and keen understanding of food safety regulations is desired. Previous food and beverage manufacturing and equipment experience is also highly desired.
- Ability to operate manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to read, write, follow process flow charts, and problem‑solve are essential skills.
- Good math, inspection, and problem‑solving skills are needed.
- Good interpersonal communication skills are needed.
- Excellent team‑player with the ability to effectively interact with multiple departments.
- Highly‑motivated self‑starter, with the ability to work with minimal oversight.
- Regular, consistent attendance is an essential job function.
- Flexible with the ability to adapt to varying situations and working in a fast‑paced environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position will spend their time on the production floor. As a result, they should expect a fast‑paced production environment with loud noises resulting and will frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds. (Moving equipment and tools will be provided to reduce strains and injury.)

- Lift 50 pounds up to shoulder height occasionally.
- Lift up to 30 pounds above the head occasionally.
- Reach, push, and pull objects occasionally using up to 20 pounds of force.
- Climb stairs frequently in a wet environment.
- Carry up to 20 pounds up six stairs occasionally.
- Occasionally enter/exit the cab of a forklift.
The role involves constant standing/walking. Pulling, twisting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, sitting, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, and keyboarding will be required. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. This person will be exposed to water, increased levels of carbon dioxide, and will be working with machinery.
The role is considered a safety sensitive position. The typical work days will be Monday‑Friday, with varied hours based on production schedule needs. Some evening and weekend work may be required. PPE will be provided to comply with safety and GMP requirements. Must have reliable transportation.
