Shifts: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Role Overview

The nurse will provide comprehensive maternal care throughout the entire childbirth process and postpartum recovery. Candidates must also be comfortable floating to Med Surg when census requires.

Required Experience

• Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) experience preferred
• Experience caring for mothers throughout the full birth process
• Ability to assess maternal and fetal complications
• Comfortable floating to Med Surg as needed
• Experience with standard Med Surg patients preferred
• Strong critical thinking and patient education skills

Requirements

• Current RN License
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NRP certification
• Current CPR certification if applicable
• Resume required for submission
• TB Questionnaire, PPD, or Chest X-Ray if applicable
• Current Health Certificate if required
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Additional Details

• Unit:
  Obstetrics / LDRP
• Floating to Med Surg required when needed
• Every 3rd weekend required
• Phone interview required
• Director typically conducts interviews within 24 hours of submission
• 13-week contract with ASAP start available
• Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Hospital will transfer highly acute patients to ICU when appropriate
