Vision Center Manager NL

Position Summary

Drive sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, inventory levels, budgeting and forecasting, and assessing economic trends and community needs.

Model and enforce company policies by providing direction to Associates on Customer Member service approaches, resolving complaints and issues within guidelines, and ensuring accurate documentation and confidentiality.

Oversee community outreach programs, encourage Associates to serve the community, and support initiatives that promote a culture of belonging and high performance.

Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, implement and monitor safety and quality assurance reviews, develop action plans to improve performance, and provide leadership in strategic initiatives.

Provide supervision and development opportunities for Associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, and recognition.

Consult with and educate Members Customers, select products based on their needs, obtain measurements, verify prescriptions, and maintain optical equipment integrity.

Uphold the Open Door Policy by meeting with Associates, listening, and researching issues to provide resolutions.

• Completion of 2 or more years of college OR 1 year’s retail experience with 1 year’s supervisory experience OR 2 years’ general work experience including 1 year of optical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws.
• Experience supervising Associates (preferred).
