Senior Project Geologist

CSG Talent are currently looking for a skilled Senior Project Geologist to support the growth of a US-based critical minerals mining company advancing a graphite project from resource definition into mine development.

This role offers the chance to take real ownership of an emerging mining asset. The role will work across exploration, resource development, and early mine planning while collaborating closely with senior technical leadership.

• Plan and execute drilling and sampling programs.
• Log core and manage QA/QC to industry standards.
• Support resource upgrades from Inferred to Indicated.
• Contribute to geological models and mine planning inputs.
• Interface with processing and concentrator design teams.
• Support mine geology and grade control activities as required.

• Degree in Geology (MSc preferred).
• Experience in exploration and/or mine geology.
• Strong core logging, mapping and data interpretation skills.
• Exposure to resource modelling workflows.
• Experience with industrial minerals, metamorphic systems, or non-vein commodities advantageous.
• Comfortable working on site and embedded in a project team.

• Long-term asset ownership, not short-term drilling objectives.
• Direct access to decision-makers.
• Stable US-based project with strategic relevance.
• Location is Kellyton / Alexander City, Alabama - approximately one hour from Birmingham and Auburn.
