Requirements:
Possession of an ADEM Grade 4 Water Operator Certification
- Operate and oversee equipment to regulate flow rates, chemical feed rates, and water quality parameters during the water treatment process.
- Perform regular inspections and upkeep of plant equipment to ensure peak performance and detect potential issues.
- Gather water samples and conduct laboratory tests to assess water quality and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
- Address alarms and emergencies promptly to troubleshoot problems, implement corrective measures, and reduce downtime.
- Maintain precise records of plant operations, maintenance tasks, and water quality data for reporting and regulatory purposes.
- Must have at least 3 years of experience working as a Grade IV Water Plant Operator.
- Proficiency in maintaining water treatment equipment and processes is required.
- Knowledge of water quality regulations and safety standards is essential.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities are necessary for managing plant operations effectively.
