Mobile County: $48,091 – $76,882 per year (salary amended 1/28/2025).
City of Mobile: $40,528 – $64,790 per year (salary amended 10/11/2025).
Mobile Area Water & Sewer System: $45,775 – $73,178 per year.
Minimum Qualification RequirementsGraduation from a standard senior high school or successful completion of the GED test, supplemented by courses in mathematics and drafting, preferably supplemented by college-level courses in land surveying, civil engineering or related field, and a minimum of three years experience in sub‑professional engineering work at the level of Engineering Technician I; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements.
