Entertainment Center Attendant

Job Overview

The Entertainment Center Attendant will provide services to the bowling alley, cinema and arcade. The Attendant will also oversee the overall presentation of the three areas of the Entertainment Center. The Attendant provides excellent customer service by greeting customers as well as addressing any questions or concerns they may have about the operation for the venues.

• Maintains the bowling lanes; including stripping, oiling, and finishing with the use of a Brunswick floor machine
• Learn and oversee the maintenance of the Vector scoring system, troubleshoot the scoring system, and understand how the scorer components function and interconnect
• Process cash transactions by accepting money and making necessary change; check identification for age-restricted movies
• Handle arcade redemptions; repair minor malfunctions
• Work all necessary equipment throughout the Entertainment Center
• Perform preventative maintenance in all venues
• Ensure that all Entertainment Center venues stay in a clean and sanitized fashion
• Display attentive, upbeat, and enthusiastic behavior during each and every interaction with all guests
• Stand and walk continuously throughout the entire shift
• Cleen outlet areas, including countertops, display shelves, storage areas and lounge areas continuously
• Walk up and down stairs continuously throughout shifts
• Address and solve any concerns and questions customers may have
• Has and maintains a stable, positive background, and assumes responsibility
• Adhere to all company standards and operating policies
• Assume special projects as needed at the direction of the immediate supervisor
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

• High school diploma or GED preferred or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within six (6) months from start date as a condition of continued employment or currently enrolled in a qualified learning institution
• Must be sixteen (16) years of age or older
• One (1) year cash handling experience – preferred
• Must successfully pass job interview, including a guest service audition
• Must be able to lift and carry thirty (30) pounds
• Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to deal effectively with diverse departments and have flexibility to work in an ever-changing environment
• Must be able to walk or stand for entirety of shift
• Ability to adequately and successfully perform all aspects of this position
• Must possess a high level of maturity, dependability, and punctuality
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, in English, effectively both verbally and in writing, and understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formats
• Willing to work odd and irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
• Must have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position
• Must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment
