Spa Manager

Location:

Birmingham, AL

Cahaba Dermatology & Spa is a full-service medical office with extensive service offerings within the skin health field.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all scheduling for front desk staff, massage therapists, and estheticians
  • Oversee the training of staff
  • Order retail and professional product as needed; manage a current inventory on all products
  • Create and aid in the implementation of sales goals for staff
  • Oversee implementation of corporate protocols
  • Field client concerns/comments as needed, and assist with front desk as needed
  • Maintain communication with staff to ensure smooth-to-day operations of the spa
  • Set retail and performance goals and follow through on implementation
  • Other duties as assigned by ownership team
  • Reward and discipline as needed
  • Oversee performance of the team
  • Help plan events and be extremely active on social media
  • Maintain tight inventory
  • Maintain spa brochures and pricing
  • Conduct and organize regular training sessions for new procedures
  • Participate in development and marketing of new procedures and treatments
  • Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the spa
  • Supervise spa packages, memberships, and maintain spa manual and update pricing regularly
and Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent record of achievement
  • At least 5 years in relevant management role
  • Intimate knowledge of aesthetics and aesthetic industry
  • Knowledge of lasers
  • Share company's ideals of patient first, patient care
  • Good organizational and analytical skills
  • Possess a caring and sympathetic manner
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Ability to communicate effectively on the telephone
  • Ability to relate to persons with diverse educational, socioeconomic, and ethnic backgrounds
  • Ability to work quickly and multi-task
  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and decision making
  • Ability to demonstrate quality customer service
  • Knowledge of modern office equipment and procedures. Previous Electronic Medical Record experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attentiveness to detail
