** The Medical Dosimetrist is principally involved with the planning and quality assurance of radiation treatments to patients. The dosimetrist acts under the direction of the medical physicist and radiation oncologist.##

* QUALIFICATIONS:

** Bachelor’s Degree in a related science, ARRT registration in Radiation Therapy Technology or CMD registration, eligibility for registration by the Medical Dosimetry Certification Board.

Knowledge and familiarity with radiation oncology equipment and radioactive materials.
** Preferred:
** Certification by the Medical Dosimetry Certification Board.

Previous experience as a dosimetrist in a clinical radiation oncology setting.### ###
