Integrated Product Team (IPT) Planning Lead (Supply Chain Master Scheduler)
The IPT Planning Lead is responsible for translating the master schedule into integrated, demand-driven, and sequenced work-center execution plans. The role ensures schedule integrity, release readiness, material kitting, and on-time documentation flow—coordinating across a matrix organization consisting of Production Controllers, Production Support Specialists, Document Control Specialists, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain.
Your Mission- Responsible for the 1 to 4‑week look‑ahead (Proactive Constraint Management (PCM) and short interval planning). Provides daily/weekly plan updates to the IPT Leader, including risks, mitigations, and recovery actions and opportunities.
- Clearly communicates production plans to all relevant stakeholders & aligns priorities to support planned production as well as maximizing capacity within work centers.
- Collaborate with Production Controllers to release work orders in the correct sequence and timing.
- Coordinate with Production Support Specialists to ensure complete, timely kitting (all direct/indirect materials, consumables, PPE, special processes and work orders).
- Facilitate and direct documentation closure, resolve blockers, and implement process improvements.
- Develop tools to assist individuals and teams to analyze data quickly & efficiently.
- Identify & implement opportunities to achieve customer needs, improve transparency and generate program revenue.
Required:
- Strong technical and production background in a high paced aerospace manufacturing facility.
- Experience with SAP R3 / S4 Hana (MM and PP modules).
- Knowledge of Industry 4.0 and Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Excellent planning, coordination, and communication skills.
- Ability to act as a central contact point for manufacturing questions across engineering, quality, and production.
- 5-10 years of leadership experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, operations, supply Chain, business, or equivalent experience.
- Aerospace, composites, or precision assembly background
