Job Overview
As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations when needed. On occasion, you may work with other products from other companies in the stores you service.

- Your starting hourly pay rate will be $13.00 - $15.00 per hour depending on your skills and experience.
- Paid training is provided through live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom training.

- This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
- Average weekly hours are between 6 and 10 hours per week.
- Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.
- Availability to support seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
Day‑to‑day engagement:
Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, restock, organize, and monitor the inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. Use technology for daily work, communication with supervisors, time reporting, feedback, and surveys. Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers. You are responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at your assigned stores.Holiday support:
Anticipate and respond to seasonal demand around holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Additional days and extended hours may be required, including work on the actual holiday itself.Department resets:
Participate as part of a team responsible for installing and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections. Two‑week advance notice is typically provided for remodel assignments, which may include evenings or weekends.One‑team vision:
As part of Hallmark’s field organization, you participate in a network of merchandisers who support other team members as needed in their territories.
This is a physically demanding job that requires high energy and a sense of urgency. Work is performed on the selling floor and in back stockrooms. You must consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Kneeling, squatting, walking, and standing are required daily, and you may need to climb stairs and use step ladders.
BasicQualifications
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Can grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Able to operate a digital hand‑held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
- Has access to a Wi‑Fi network and the internet.
- Has consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
