Job Description
Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you. The high‑quality plasma you collect will become life‑changing medicines. As a Production Manager, you will report to the Center Manager and oversee the general management of employees assigned to the production areas. You will support the Center Manager and management team in achieving center production and cost goals while maintaining compliance with regulatory and quality requirements.
Responsibilities- Participate in the selection of new team members and management within the center and train staff.
- Foster teamwork and provide performance feedback, including initiating disciplinary action.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and company rules, regulations, and quality practices to protect the safety of products, donors, and employees.
- Participate in the correction and prevention of audit findings and prepare routine reports to keep management informed of operational needs.
- Work in different production roles on the donor floor and provide customer service.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree desired.
- Minimum of one year of relevant work experience in a regulated industry or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to work weekends, extended work periods, and occasionally travel.
- Valid and current CPR and AED certification.
- Ability to be mobile for an entire shift.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, lean, reach above shoulders and below knees, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to monitor equipment from a distance.
- Potential exposure to blood borne pathogens.
