Brennan Middle School (Gr 5-8)
Start Date:
8/25/26 (orientation prior)
General education and special education staff collaborate to ensure access to the general education curriculum. Services are delivered using various models, including co-teaching, push-in, small group, 1:1, and pull-out.
QualificationsMaster’s Degree preferred
Massachusetts Licensure as a Teacher of Students with Moderate Disabilities (PreK-8) Licensure in Reading preferred
Exceptions to the above qualifications shall be made as the Superintendent deems appropriate and acceptable
Job Goal / PurposeTo ensure that students with an IEP receive services in accordance with federal and state laws and regulations. Provides support through MTSS to benefit all students.
Reports To: Building Principal and/or Director of Special Education
Performance ResponsibilitiesSafety Care trained, preferred
1-2 years as a special educator
Training in reading instruction preferred e.g.:
Orton Gillingham
Training in restorative practices preferred
ELL and SEL training preferred
FY26 Salary range: $64,004 - $108,744
FY 27 to be determined
