Salary
- Massachusetts Certified Teacher Per Diem Rate $230.00 per day
- Assists students and families in developing the students’ four-year high school educational plans.
- Assists students and families with all facets of college and post-secondary planning.
- Helps students with course selection.
- Establishes and maintains positive and ongoing communication with administration, teachers, families, and community through multi-modal means.
- Meets with students, families, and staff for purposes of planning for the students’ success in personal, academic, career/vocational, and college planning.
- Formulates intervention plans for at‑risk students.
- Supports school-wide initiatives.
- Provides information to all students and families through individual and group planning and collaborates with the appropriate school‑based professionals.
- Demonstrates knowledge and use of pertinent technologies, social media and computer programs. ASPEN, Naviance, and Google experience is required.
- Participates in team meetings, including but not limited to 504 or Special Education team meetings.
- Performs other responsibilities as deemed appropriate and assigned by the Assistant Principal and Guidance Coordinator.
