This is a full-time, on-site role for a NETA Level 3 or Level 4 Technician. In this role, you will perform electrical testing, maintenance, and commissioning of power systems. Responsibilities include overseeing and executing tasks such as protective relay testing, troubleshooting electrical equipment, preparing detailed test reports, and ensuring equipment operates efficiently and safely following industry standards. Additionally, maintaining accurate documentation and interacting professionally with clients will be essential aspects of this position.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Electrical Testing, including protective relay testing, transformer testing, and circuit breaker maintenance
- Strong understanding of Electrical Engineering concepts, including power systems, equipment troubleshooting, and system schematics
- Experience with interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Familiarity with NETA standards, safety protocols, and industry best practices
- Ability to perform detailed and accurate test reports and documentation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical issues effectively
- Strong time management, organizational skills, and ability to work independently or within a team
- Possession of a valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally as required
- NETA Level 3 or Level 4 Certification is required; additional industry-recognized certifications are a plus
- Associate degree or higher in electrical engineering, electrical technology, or a related field preferred
