Job Requirements / Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience (cardiac telemetry required) Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand ACLS and BLS certifications required

Experience with cardiac dysrhythmia interpretation and management Cerner or Epic electronic charting experience preferred (EMR / electronic medical record) COVID-19 vaccination required (no exemptions);
Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only) Float pool experience preferred; first-time travel nurses with 2–3 years’ experience are welcome Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in medical, surgical, and observation units as a Med/Surg Telemetry nurse Float between units as needed during 12-hour night shifts as part of the Float Pool team Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry, recognize dysrhythmias, and intervene per protocol Administer and titrate IV insulin protocols and continuous infusions including Cardizem and Amiodarone drips Perform patient assessments, medication administration, and coordinate plan of care with interdisciplinary team Document patient care accurately in Cerner or Epic (preferred) and maintain electronic medical record compliance Relieve Avasure office staff for breaks and meals when scheduled Work every other weekend as part of staffing rotation;
