Description:

Float Pool Registered Nurse needed for a 3x12 night shift position.
Must have cardiac experience.
First-time travelers are acceptable with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience.
The nurse may work in two different units within a 12-hour shift based on unit needs.
Coverage is required every other weekend.
Documentation is done using the Cerner system.
Patient diagnoses include medical-surgical telemetry and observation units.
The float pool is primarily based out of one designated location.
Staff members include nurses, nursing assistants, and other support staff.
The float pool staff is assigned based on unit needs during bed meetings.
There is a video monitoring system in place that watches multiple patients.
Responsibilities include providing patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Travelers may be canceled for shifts based on facility needs, with specific limits.
Background policies are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Preference given to candidates with float pool experience and telemetry monitoring skills.
