Safely transport patients between departments, including to and from patient rooms, diagnostic testing areas, Emergency Department, hospital-based clinics, and discharge areas;
Facilitate transport of equipment, supplies, and medical records as needed to support clinical and operational workflow;
Appropriately identify patients prior to actual transport to ensure two positive identifiers in confirming correct patient;
Assist patients with mobility limitations, including those in wheelchairs, stretchers, or beds, ensuring safety and comfort;
Communicate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and other hospital personnel to coordinate timely, safe patient transport
