Residential Counselor - MAP

Location:

New Taunton Ave

Pay Range: $20 - $23.75

Schedule:

40 hrs Mon-Thur: 3p-11p and Sat: 8a-4p

FLSA:
Non Exempt

• Teach ADLs (cooking, budgeting, medication management) and socialization skills.
• Implement treatment plans and behavioral interventions under clinician guidance.
• Administer/supervise medications per MAP guidelines and document care.
• Transport residents to appointments and community activities.
• Advocate for residents’ needs and model healthy coping strategies.
• Maintain a safe, clean home environment and complete timely documentation.

• High school diploma/GED; mental health experience preferred.
• MAP (Medication Administration Program) certification is required. Candidates without current certification must be willing to complete employer‑provided training and successfully obtain certification within 3 months.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to assist with mobility (bending, standing, etc.).
• Strong communication skills (English) and basic computer proficiency.
• Compassion, patience, and a commitment to trauma‑informed care.
• Bonus:
