Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Lead MRI Technologist, performs a variety of duties related to MRI. Performs MRI procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illnesses and injuries, and is responsible for the care and safety of patients undergoing MRI procedures and for the use of MRI equipment.

• Minimum one year of experience in MRI technology.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of cross‑sectional anatomy or willingness to continue formal education within a designated timeframe.
• Hands‑on experience with Siemens MRI equipment (preferred).
• Synapse/PACS experience (preferred).

ARRT or ARMRIT certification in Radiologic Technology and MRI Technology; successful completion of an intravenous certification class approved by the institution, within 12 weeks of probation.

ARRT or ARMRIT certification in Radiologic Technology and MRI Technology required. 1–3 months of orientation or equivalent on‑the‑job training based on existing skill set.

Use hands to control objects, tools, or controls; stand or sit for long periods; repeat the same movements; stand on feet for long periods; bend or twist body; hold arm and hand in a position; make quick, precise adjustments to machine controls; use fingers or hands to grasp, move, or assemble objects; move two or more limbs together while remaining in place;

speak clearly; use stomach and lower back muscles to support the body for long periods without getting tired.

$35.88–$55.56 per hour. Compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set and education.
