40-Responsible for maintaining the day-to-day operations of the designated service line to ensure prompt and full provision and delivery of all medical support services. Provides clinical, fiscal and leadership direction for the assigned surgical clinics. Implements and monitors fiscal and clinical indicators to meet service line standards; this role serves as the key link between the clinical staff administrative staff. Collaborates with all disciplines to promote communication and integrated services for patient care, functions within policies, practice guidelines and operations standards of Sturdy Health Medical Group and Sturdy Memorial Hospital in accordance with the CDC and OSHA standards, and any other applicable regulatory or accreditation agency.

*** Masters in health-related field or enrolled in a program within 12 months of hire.
* BA/BS Degree in Business, Health Care Administration, or another relevant field required.

Qualifications and Skills:

*** Minimum of  _5 _ years of experience in Medical Practice Leadership.
* Excellent Quality Medical Practice Management and Hospital Operating Room Relations
* Responsible for oversight of the provision of surgical specialties
* Responsible for managing the resources necessary to provide patient-focused care that is seamless, cost-effective and outcome oriented.
* Promotes and participates in ongoing quality improvement activities and is invested in preventing errors from reaching the patients.
* Must meet all criteria associated with responsibilities detailed in this document.
* Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and adaptability, creating a favorable image in relationship to the Surgical Medical Practice Department and the Sturdy Health as a whole.
* Strong leadership and analytical base
* Charged with maintaining the proper scheduling of all site personnel to ensure that all areas are appropriately staffed to provide scheduled appointment and/or walk-in medical care to patients.
* Command of verbal and written English
* Positive interpersonal communication skills
* Good organizational skills
* Must develop and maintain positive relationships across all areas of responsibility.
* Must visibly demonstrate commitment to customer relations and all basic concepts of continuous quality improvement and preventing error from reaching the patient.
* Provides timely, positive responses to the needs of all customers, including patients, families, co-workers, and physicians.
* Available on off-hours as needed, if site has extended evening and/or weekend hours, or emergencies
