About the Role

The Company is in search of a sales-driven CEO to spearhead its next phase of expansion. The successful candidate will be tasked with scaling the business, driving revenue, and leading future fundraising efforts. This role is pivotal in the transition from an early-stage company to a high-revenue and profit enterprise, with a focus on optimizing sales engines and operational efficiency. The CEO will be expected to take a hands‑on approach to closing complex, multi‑stakeholder deals, particularly with K-12 school districts and state adoption boards.

Strategic leadership, collaborative innovation, and team management are also key responsibilities, with an emphasis on fostering a culture of accountability and mission‑driven excellence. Applicants for the CEO position at the company should have a proven track record in scaling SaaS or EdTech businesses, with a strong background in sales leadership. K‑12 expertise, including experience in closing large‑scale deals and familiarity with state adoptions, is highly preferred.

The ideal candidate will have a successful fundraising track record, be scrappy and hands‑on, and be adept at using data to guide decision‑making. The role requires a leader who is willing to travel significantly and is ready to take on the challenge of leading a distributed, remote‑first team. The CEO will work closely with the Founder/Chief Innovation Officer to ensure that the company's growth strategy is in line with its mission and that the product‑market fit remains aligned with aggressive sales goals.
