POSITION STATUS: This is a full-time, non-unit professional position with benefits.

STATEMENT OF DUTIES: The Director of Regional Campus Operations (Attleboro) serves as Bristol Community College's senior administrative leader and primary representative for its regional campus, advancing the College's mission through strategic leadership, community engagement, and student success. The Director builds strong relationships with employers, municipalities, school districts, and economic development organizations to position Bristol as the region's leading provider of higher education, workforce development, and lifelong learning.

Working collaboratively across divisions, including Academic Affairs, Student Services, Economic and Workforce Solutions, and Institutional Advancement, the Director ensures seamless delivery of credit and non-credit programs while developing strategies to grow enrollment, improve student persistence and completion, expand employer partnerships, and address emerging workforce needs that fuel regional economic growth. As convener of campus operations and a member of the Economic & Workforce Solutions leadership team, the Director aligns college functions and coordinates with key stakeholders such as the Director of Workforce Development and the Workforce Training Center to deliver an exceptional experience for students, employers, and the community.

Strategic

Campus Leadership
  • Provide executive leadership for all campus operations.
  • Lead implementation of Bristol's strategic plan at the regional campus.
  • Develop annual campus goals aligned with institutional priorities.
  • Foster a collaborative, student-centered culture focused on continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the senior campus leader responsible for operational excellence and institutional representation.
  • Coordinate campus-wide planning efforts across all divisions.
Community and Economic Development Leadership
  • Serve as Bristol's lead ambassador within the campus service region.
  • Build strategic partnerships with employers, chambers of commerce, municipalities, workforce boards, economic development organizations, K-12 districts, and community organizations.
  • Identify emerging industry trends and workforce needs to inform programming.
  • Represent the College on regional boards, committees, and task forces.
  • Connect education, workforce development, and business needs to advance regional economic vitality.
Workforce and Academic Partnership Development
  • Collaborate with the Director of Workforce Development and Associate Directors (Healthcare Training, Career & Technical Training, Corporate Training, Workforce Success) to identify new credit and non-credit programs aligned with labor market demand.
  • Support career pathways and connect employers with Academic Affairs for curriculum development, work-based learning, internships, apprenticeships, and advisory committees.
  • Identify opportunities to transition non-credit learners into credit programs and promote lifelong learning.
Enrollment Growth and Student Success
  • Lead campus enrollment growth and regional recruitment strategies, partnering with Enrollment Management on outreach.
  • Support retention, persistence, completion, and transfer strategies.
  • Analyze enrollment, utilization, retention, and completion data to drive improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Associate Director of Workforce Success to monitor workforce outcomes, employer satisfaction, and student success metrics.
