Metal Fabrication Project Delivery Lead

About the Opportunity Direct Hire / Full-Time role leading complex builds in a fast-paced metal fabrication and machining environment. You will orchestrate project scope, schedule, budget, and communication so every component ships on-time, within cost, and to exact customer specifications.

A Day in the Life Translate customer requirements into clear project plans, timelines, and resource loads.

Coordinate closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality to maintain flow from kickoff through final inspection.

Act as the primary client interface—share milestones, manage changes, and provide proactive status updates.

Own project financials: build budgets, track actuals, and drive corrective actions when needed.

Verify fabricated parts meet drawings, standards, and customer acceptance criteria.

Partner with QA/QC to resolve nonconformances and prevent recurrence.

Identify schedule, cost, and technical risks; implement mitigation plans early.

Guide and mentor project team members while enabling cross-functional collaboration.

What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
5+ years in metal fabrication with 2+ years leading projects.

Hands-on knowledge of welding, cutting, forming, and assembly processes.

Fluency in reading CAD models and fabrication blueprints.

Experience with ERP platforms and project management software.

Understanding of lean manufacturing principles; PMP is a plus.

Up to $100K, based on experience
