Material Handler
Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock while recording their location in Oracle.
Responsibilities- Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying items listed on move orders and pick slips, delivering them, and completing transactions in Oracle.
- Receive return materials and supplies from production, verify item number, lot number, and quantity, place materials in stock, and complete Oracle transactions.
- Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, picking, packing, crating, loading, and securing products following operating procedures and work instructions.
- Maintain material-handling equipment such as scales by conducting pre-use inspections.
- Contribute to team efforts by achieving related results as needed.
- Troubleshoot problems quickly and efficiently, seeking advice when necessary.
- Assist in maintaining an organized and clean workplace, including all plant areas, workstations, equipment, walkways, and break rooms using 5S procedures.
- Participate in and implement continuous improvement projects.
- Safely and efficiently meet all requirements by following operating procedures and work instructions in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Experience in material handling, data entry, and inventory management.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners.
- Strong organizational skills with a positive attitude and ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and effectively communicate verbally.
- Familiarity with computers and data entry skills.
- Ability to self-start while taking orders as directed.
- Consistent and punctual attendance is required with availability to work assigned shifts and required overtime.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in shipping, receiving, picking, Microsoft Office, and packaging.
- Capability to handle physical demands, including lifting and moving weights up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Work EnvironmentWork in a clean environment with access to a great café. The position involves a 2nd shift schedule from 3:30 PM, 7 days a week, and is a contract-to-hire opportunity. This is a Contract position based out of Attleboro, MA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
