Material Handler - 1 Shift

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Material Handler - 1 Shift to join their team. As a Material Handler - 1 Shift, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting production and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well as part of a team, which will align successfully in the organization.

* ** What's the Job?*
* + Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory in Oracle.

+ Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on move orders and pick slips, deliver, and complete appropriate transactions in Oracle.

+ Receive return material and supplies from production, verify item number, lot number, and quantity; place materials in stock and complete Oracle transactions.

+ Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, picking, packing, crating, loading, and securing product following operating procedures and work instructions.

+ Maintain material-handling equipment such as scales by completing pre-use inspections.

** What's Needed?*
* + High school diploma or GED required.

+ Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.

+ Possess strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well as a team.

+ Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, as well as verbal instructions and effectively communicate verbally.

+ Computer familiarity, data entry skills.
