American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a valid MA RN license and recent L&D experience.

• Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
• 15-bed unit following inpatient rooming with infants; mothers and infants remain together except for special care
• Patient population includes neonates and adults
• Uses Omnicell medication dispensing system
• Utilizes SBAR communication protocol
• Night shifts: 3x12 hours, 19:00 – 07:00
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend
• All infants room in with mothers unless they require newborn nursery care
• Return staff must wait at least 1 year before being eligible to return as travelers
• First-time travelers with sufficient experience will be considered
• 14-week contract assignment
• All requested time off must be disclosed during application
• Applicants must submit complete work history and explain any gaps
• Background policy is reviewed case by case

• Active MA RN license in hand
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Beginner
• AWHONN Advanced and AWHONN Intermediate certifications preferred
• Cerner experience preferred but not required
• Must provide two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years
