• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist patients with breathing techniques.
• Check cervix periodically to monitor progression or dilation.
• Ensure beds are kept clean and dry; clean up bodily fluids expelled before and after the birthing process.
• Aid physician with drapes, gloves, gowns, delivery instruments, etc.
• Provide immediate care of the newborn.

• 3 years of recent acute care experience preferred.
• Certifications:
  
  ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN.
• 2 years of related experience (as applicable per job posting).
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean and stoop without difficulty; ability to lift 20 pounds easily and up to 50 pounds when moving or lifting patients.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.

Travel RN position for Labor and Delivery in Attleboro, MA. Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
