Patient Care Liaison - Emergency Department; Per Diem

Responsibilities

• Assists by providing general support and comfort needs of patients, families, and visitors.
• Advocates for patients and their families by communicating issues and concerns and seeking resolution through appropriate channels.
• Provides information and/or direction to patients with questions or problems.

• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills needed to assist in providing care to patients.
• Exhibits excellent interpersonal, communication, and adaptability skills, creating a favorable image in relationship to the ED and the hospital as a whole.
• Develops and maintains positive relationships across all areas of responsibility.
• Demonstrates commitment to customer relations and all basic concepts of continuous quality improvement and preventing error from reaching the patient.
• Provides timely, positive responses to the needs of all customers including patients, families, co-workers, and physicians.

Ability to effectively communicate to all age levels served within the scope of the position/assigned areas.

$19.85 - $30.05 hourly. The pay range reflects the anticipated range for new hires. Actual compensation will be determined after considering factors such as work history, experience, skill set, and education. This is not inclusive of the Sturdy Health benefits package, which includes healthcare/dental/vision and retirement.
