American Traveler is seeking a Telemetry RN for a night shift acute care hospital position requiring strong tele experience and MA state licensure.

• 10-bed telemetry observation unit for patients being ruled out for various medical diagnoses, typically 24-48 hour stays
• Occasional overflow surgical patients, no medication drips administered
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-07:30)
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• On-call requirement of 5-6 night shifts in 6 weeks (22:00-07:00)
• Floating required within scope to Med/Surg Tele units
• Uses Cerner charting system

• Active MA RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience required, 3 years strongly preferred
• Cerner or Epic experience required
• Strong autonomous cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management skills required
• Skilled in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias and emergency response

• Acute care hospital with 127 staffed beds
• Provide cardiac monitoring, emergency response, and dysrhythmia management for telemetry observation patients
• Any color scrubs accepted, no jean material
• First-time travelers considered if they have 2-3 years of experience and Epic or Cerner experience
• Local candidates accepted
• Finalized RTO must be submitted upfront, with no additions allowed after signing
• Previous staff must wait one year before returning as a traveler
