Maintains quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products; recording quality results.

• Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications; conduct visual and measurement tests; reject and return unacceptable materials.
• Approve in-process production by confirming specifications; conduct visual and measurement tests; communicate required adjustments to the production supervisor.
• Approve finished products by confirming specifications; conduct visual and measurement tests; return products for rework when applicable; confirm rework.
• Work independently on complex assignments, demonstrating initiative to resolve issues and recommend new procedures.
• Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing rework and waste, and inputting data into the quality database.
• Evaluate problems and make recommendations.
• Participate in the Corrective Action process.

• 5+ years’ quality control experience in inspection is preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems is a plus.
• Use computerized data collection equipment and software to record inspection data and generate process capability and other SQC charts.
• Utilize measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, and force gauges; knowledge of Keyence inspection machines is a plus.
• Evaluate and complete special customer quality assurance requirements (e.g., first article inspection, SPC charts and data, and other customer paperwork).
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings; working knowledge of GD&T; understand x, y, z coordinate systems.
• General proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word is a plus.

Pay will be $23–$25 per hour with a 10% differential for second‑shift operators.

This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must qualify as “U.S. Persons” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15.
