Job OverviewThe General Manager leads a profitable restaurant, ensuring it meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. The GM establishes restaurant goals, works with leadership, and creates plans to achieve them.
ResponsibilitiesThe General Manager, in partnership with his or her leader, sets goals and plans for the restaurant. He or she leads a team of Department Managers, helping them set their own goals, monitoring progress, and providing coaching and direction to improve performance across departments. The GM may also hire and develop Department and Shift Managers, ensuring a strong future leadership pipeline.
QualificationsIdeal candidates have prior General Manager experience running high‑volume locations. A background in quick‑service restaurants, hospitality, or retail is strongly desired. Candidates must be 18 years or older to manage in corporate‑owned restaurants.
