Come join the team that is reinventing home! Wayfair is hiring a Retail Receiving Associate for our returns Outlet retail store in Attleboro, MA

The base pay for this position is $18.50 per hour.

Hours:

20 hours per week.

Weekends and day‑shift availability is required for this role.

Store hours:
Monday - Saturday: 10 am – 8 pm;
Sunday: 11 am – 7 pm.

What You’ll Do
  • Act as an authentic brand ambassador for the Wayfair family, leading and creating a best‑in‑class customer experience by connecting patrons with the world's biggest and best home online assortment brought to life in our stores.
  • Manage and monitor stock levels, merchandise adjacencies, presentations, signing, and assortment in all departments to ensure the sales‑floor is adequately stocked and meets visual standards required by Wayfair and Tanger Outlets.
  • Support customer fulfillment across all channels, leveraging all services including order pick‑up and incoming inventory.
  • Maintain visual standards, replenishment, safety, and back‑room standards.
  • Participate in all operational aspects of the store, including processing new products, floor sets, replenishment, substitutions, and general upkeep.
  • Exemplify a positive and professional attitude on a daily basis with customers and team members.
  • Bring a willingness to share innovative ideas and solutions to continuously improve team operations.
  • Engage in a high‑energy, focused, and dynamic work environment where rapid changes in products, promotions, offerings, and operations occur.
  • Assist with furniture delivery to customer's vehicles.
Criteria
  • 1+ years of stock receiving experience required; retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Positive attitude and passion for great customer service.
  • Strong organization, self‑motivation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office applications preferred.
  • All employees will be expected to represent the brand through polished communication, personal appearance, and professionalism.
Essential Functions
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent active listening skills.
  • Positive, professional attitude and demonstrated enthusiasm for supporting customers.
  • Technical acumen to learn necessary software (Google and Microsoft Office) to manage inventory and price items.
  • Ability to process information and merchandise through a computer system and POS register system.
Physical Requirements
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; regularly climb or balance; and frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be comfortable repeatedly lifting up to 75 pounds unassisted and maneuvering product up to 150 pounds unassisted or via team lift.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Working Hours

We strive to provide a work schedule that protects employees’ work/life balance and considers scheduling preferences. Due to the nature of the retail industry, shift schedules will vary. However, we will provide schedule at least two weeks in advance, and employees may trade with teammates as needed. Employee shifts may include two hours before or after store hours.
