High School Security Monitor Afternoon/Evening (0.7)

Hours:

25 hours per week; 3:15 pm – 8:15 pm/ Monday
- Friday

Salary Range: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Job Goal:
To provide responsible security work to maintain a safe school environment.

Responsibilities:

• Monitors the safety of the school, building, and grounds. Patrols school and grounds checking all exits and entrances.
• Greets visitors and prevents outsiders from entering the building and grounds without proper authority.
• Monitors and enforces parking and traffic.
• Works with administration on school security.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma (minimum)
• Three years experience in security work.
• Training in conflict resolution
• Experience working with adolescents
• Experience in the following areas:

• traffic and parking enforcement
• reporting and record keeping procedures
• public safety
• public relations

• CPR and first aid training
• ALICE (or equivalent) Safety training preferred
