25 hours per week; 3:15 pm – 8:15 pm/ Monday
- Friday
Salary Range: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Job Goal:
To provide responsible security work to maintain a safe school environment.
Responsibilities:
- Monitors the safety of the school, building, and grounds. Patrols school and grounds checking all exits and entrances.
- Greets visitors and prevents outsiders from entering the building and grounds without proper authority.
- Monitors and enforces parking and traffic.
- Works with administration on school security.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma (minimum)
- Three years experience in security work.
- Training in conflict resolution
- Experience working with adolescents
- Experience in the following areas:
- traffic and parking enforcement
- reporting and record keeping procedures
- public safety
- public relations
- CPR and first aid training
- ALICE (or equivalent) Safety training preferred
