Building Automation Technician

* Under the general direction of the Utilities Manager and within established Hospital and departmental policies and procedures and in accordance with applicable codes and practices performs a wide variety of repairs, overhaul, and servicing duties on hospital plant and equipment with emphasis on building automation equipment.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/

Experience:

* A thorough understanding of HVAC and controls principles and practices

* A knowledge of a back net building automation system

* Able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, access crawl spaces; able to work extra shifts, able to work in harsh environment, such as boiler rooms, mechanical spaces, crawl spaces

Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/

Experience:

* Ability to read and understand blueprints

Educational Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent

License/Certification:

* Refrigeration Technician License Preferred

* Salary Range: $33.82-$52.24
