Junior Accountant

AVAILABILITY Professional Staffing is seeking a Junior Accountant for a mission-driven organization that is making a real difference in the local community. In this role, you'll gain hands‑on experience supporting key accounting functions while working alongside a team that appreciates your contributions and invests in your success.

• Support accounts receivable, including cash posting, monthly accruals, billings, deposits, and bank runs
• Assist with accounts payable, including check processing and coding
• Prepare journal entries and support general ledger activities
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and assist with financial reporting
• Manage federal, state, and county grant billing and reconciliations
• Maintain accurate donor and fundraising spreadsheets

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Nonprofit accounting experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow
