Production Equipment Operator - Food & Beverage Manufacturing

Atwater, California

Type: 6-8 week Contract

Compensation: $22-28/hr

Responsibilities

+ Operate and monitor food processing equipment throughout the production process.

+ Prepare, cook, and process liquid concentrates according to established production procedures.

+ Operate centrifuge equipment and assist with transferring product between processing systems and kettles.

+ Monitor production parameters and make minor process adjustments ("process tuning") to maintain product quality and efficiency.

+ Accurately complete production records, batch documentation, and equipment logs.

+ Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), GMPs, sanitation, and safety requirements.

+ Perform equipment inspections before, during, and after production runs.

+ Maintain a clean and organized production area.

+ Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals.

+ Assist with other production duties as assigned.

Requirements

+ Previous experience operating manufacturing or production equipment preferred.

+ Food & Beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical processing, or industrial manufacturing experience is highly preferred.

+ Experience following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and documenting production activities.

+ Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.

+ Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

+ Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

+ High School Diploma or GED preferred.

+ Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

+ Comfortable working around industrial processing equipment.

+ Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
