Under general supervision, performs construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground electrical transmission and distribution systems, ensuring safe and reliable power delivery.

• Install, maintain, and repair overhead/underground lines, substations, and related equipment (transformers, switches, cables, streetlights).
• Perform pole climbing, equipment installation, cable termination, and energized ("hot line") work using proper tools and safety procedures.
• Troubleshoot outages, test systems, and restore service; support planned and emergency operations.
• Conduct inspections, maintenance, and upgrades of electrical infrastructure.
• Operate tools, heavy equipment, and perform physically demanding tasks in various environments.
• Maintain safety standards, documentation, and equipment; assist in traffic control and system switching.
• May supervise/train apprentices and coordinate with teams and the public.

• Journey-level Electrical Lineworker certification with 3.5–5+ years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, safety regulations (OSHA, NEC), and linework practices.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in all weather conditions.
• Valid Class A/B driver’s license and required safety certifications (e.g., HAZWOPER, CPR/First Aid).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
