• Performing clerical, bookkeeping, and accounting duties
• Assisting with vouchering invoices, opening mail, and scanning invoices into the College’s Perceptive scanning system
• Maintaining accounting records for projects and programs
• Maintaining student financial records and preparing reports to reconcile for accuracy
• Interpreting computer reports and preparing journal entries
• Assisting in the interpretation of federal regulations and applying them to the collection of student accounts
• Acting as a liaison representative with collectors, internal personnel, and external agencies
• Handling college account payables (e.g. vendor invoices, check requests, purchase orders, etc.)
• Handling college account receivables (e.g. third-party billing, escrows, student refunds, Tuition Incentive Program (TIP), etc.), banking issues, collections, grants, and various other projects
• Operating office equipment and maintaining, cleaning, and arranging for service of equipment when necessary
• Training and directing college student personnel with appropriate approval

• Have an earned Associate Degree or higher in Accounting, or Business Administration (with a concentration in Accounting) OR have any Associate Degree or higher with successful completion of 16 college credit hours in Accounting
• Are proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Have keyboard proficiency of 35 wpm
• Have two (2) years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
