Technical Accounting & Controlling Intern

Overview

Autoliv's primary goal is to Save More Lives. Our products never get a second chance. We are working to increase vehicle safety by developing seatbelts, airbags, and steering wheels.

We are currently seeking a talented accounting or finance student to join our team.

• Support the preparation of financial information in accordance with US GAAP and Company policy
• Execute month‑end close controlling activities and support management reporting
• Assist plant controllers in month‑end close reporting activities and technical accounting inquiries in accordance with Company policy and US GAAP
• Assist with financial analyses
• Perform technical accounting analyses
• Draft technical accounting memos and position papers for Controller review and approval
• Prepare analytics to support operational and cross‑functional decision‑making
• Assist the Divisional Controller to roll out initiatives that improve month‑end close

• Working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Strong written and verbal communication with confident presentation skills
• Proficiency in English;
  Spanish proficiency is a plus
• Attention to detail
