Venteon Finance is currently seeking a SENIOR TAX ACCOUNTANT for a global manufacturing client in Oakland County.
REQUIREMENTS- e
Bachelor’s degree in Accounti - ng4+ years of related Tax experience in either Public Accounting, or Corporate T
- ax Federal and State Tax Compliance experien
- ceCPA or MST preferr
- ed Exposure to Income Tax Accounting preferr
- ole
Assist in maintaining tax calendar to effectively track statutory and internal due dates for all tax fili - ngs.
Evaluate book to tax differences related to fixed assets; utilize software to compute federal and state tax asset depreciation repo - rts.
Responsible for preparing the Company’s tax provision and related disclosu - res.
Research inquiries from government agencies regarding filings, compliance, and other cla - ims.
Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of federal and state tax laws, regulations, and current tax developme - nts.
Assist in calculation and review of payroll related tax iss - ues.
