Temporary Accountant – Record to Report (Corporate Accounting)

Encadria is partnering with Guardian Glass in Auburn Hills for a Temporary Accountant to support the Corporate Record-to-Report (RTR) team through transformation and increased business demand. This role will assist with global cash accounting, intercompany accounting, and month-end close activities while partnering with global finance teams to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.

• Support daily and month-end global cash accounting, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and help resolve balancing differences across global entities.
• Execute month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Prepare and maintain support in accordance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Collaborate with global accounting teams to investigate and resolve issues timely.
• Assist with audit requests, ad hoc reporting, continuous improvement, and process documentation.

• 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in corporate or shared services.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close processes.
• Experience with cash accounting, account reconciliations, and large data sets.
• Familiarity with intercompany accounting is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills, attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience working in a multinational organization supporting global accounting.
• M3 or One Stream experience.
