Venteon Finance is currently seeking a Senior Tax Analyst Tax Accounting for a global automotive manufacturing company located in the Auburn Hills, MI area. This position will lead key aspects of the company's global tax accounting and financial reporting processes, including quarterly and annual income tax provisions, tax forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical tax accounting background with experience supporting multinational organizations and the ability to partner effectively with global finance teams, external auditors, and third-party advisors.
Requirements of the Senior Tax Analyst Bachelor s degree in Accounting Active CPA designation required4+ years of public accounting experience with significant income tax accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of ASC 740 or IAS 12
Experience with income tax accounting for multinational organizations.
Strong technical knowledge of tax accounting, financial reporting, deferred taxes, and effective tax rate analysis.
Advanced Excel skills required;
One Source Tax Provision experience preferred.
Responsibilities of the Senior Tax Analyst Lead the quarterly and annual global income tax provision process, including tax calculations, journal entries, work papers, and financial statement disclosures.
Manage global tax forecasting, annual budgeting, long-range planning, and effective tax rate analysis.
Review international tax reporting packages, return-to-provision adjustments, deferred tax calculations, uncertain tax positions, and valuation allowance analyses.
Partner with international finance teams and external auditors to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting and support audit requirements.
Identify and implement process improvements, standardization, and automation opportunities across global tax accounting and reporting.
