Accounting Manager, Consolidations & Reporting

The Headhunters have been exclusively engaged by a PE sponsored Tier 1 & 2 automotive supplier to find an Accounting Manager to lead their consolidation and month-end closing process. This is a hybrid role and newly created position due to growth on a team led by an exceptional executive that I have known personally for over 10 years.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years experience and is tech savvy and experienced in HFM, One Stream or other consolidation software. A CPA designation is highly desired but not required. Annual base compensation goes up to $150k, plus target bonus and outstanding benefits. Our client may consider lighter candidates for a supervisor title and there could even be some stretch on compensation if necessary for an exceptional candidate.

Our client will also consider candidates coming directly from the Big 4 or other large regional CPA firms.

• Lead the global monthly, quarterly and annual accounting consolidation
• Oversee the accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process, including documentation like reconciliations and supporting work papers
• Initiate, establish and manage procedures and timelines for period end processing to ensure deadlines are managed and met
• Collaborate and work closely with external auditors, consultants and advisors to provide required audit documentation or analysis necessary to support compliance and the consolidation process
• Participate in special or ad-hoc projects, implementations and perform other duties necessary to support accounting and finance functions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred but will consider Finance
• 5+ years accounting experience required with companies with revenues exceeding $500 million in annual revenue
• CPA designation is highly desired but not required
• Proficiency with large ERP systems, HFM, Hyperion, and / or One Stream
